This series of three images developed out of a 2019 trip to Tofino with the Victoria Camera Club. Several years later a couple of the more than 300 photos came together in this series. One was from a walk in the bog where light illuminated a dying leaf and the other from the joyous energy of a woman doing cartwheels on the beach at sunset.
Digital World. These images are created entirely in the world of digital photography and digital art. I generally start with an image from my photography, and then alter it digitally. With these tools I can distort, size, change colours, draw or paint on top, or under the image, move, layer and more. It is like having a fully equipped printshop and painting studio at my fingertips, with the exception of the physical embossment that comes with an etching, or thickness of paint.
Printing and Editions. Being digital, the image can be printed on different mediums and sizes providing the aspect ratio, (width to height), does not change.
These prints have been professionally printed on Metallic Canvas. They are part of a limited edition of 25.
