I did these drawings more than a decade ago, during the final year of my marriage. My emotions were a roiling storm, my thoughts scattered and without purchase. Forest walks and the drawings that came from them helped me find some calm during that time of endings and beginnings. I am ready for these drawings to leave the sketch book, for these trees to inspire someone else.
