My art practice began in the early 1980’s, the first 30 years my studio was in Vancouver and in 2015 I made the move to the Cowichan Valley where I continue creating. The thread that drives my creative process is the interaction of line and form in nature and human made structure. My recent work uses monotype printmaking methods. This series inspiration comes from the sound of the water flowing through the river rocks along the Koksilah River. I reference river rocks and collect and use the cross-section plant stems for repetitive mark making to create an energetic conversation reminding me we are all connected.
